Synopsis
alias [name statement]
alias
Description
Defines a new alias name, i.e. an abbreviation, for the given statement. The statement must be enclosed in double quotes if it contains blanks. The statement may contain an asterisk * to indicate where the command line parameters are to be inserted.
Without parameters, alias gives a list of all currently defined aliases.
